Have you heard about SITES, the new sustainable landscape certification, and want to learn more? Are you a developer or government agency who wants to get recognition for your commitment to sustainable site design and construction? Maybe you’re a green building or landscape architecture professional who hopes to offer consulting services for SITES, but isn’t familiar with the certification process. You could be working on a project with sustainable landscaping elements and wondering if the project is eligible for SITES.  Or perhaps you want to learn more about the synergies between SITES and LEED and the potential for multiple certifications.

Attend our free, live informational webinar on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT to get the answers to your questions about SITES certification. Participants will:

  • Gain an overview of the SITES v2 Rating System.
  • Learn how SITES, as an integrative process, can offset development impacts while protecting and restoring ecosystem services.
  • Understand the synergies and distinctions between LEED and SITES.

The Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES®) is the most comprehensive program for developing sustainable landscapes. SITES is currently used by landscape architects, designers, engineers, architects, developers, policymakers and others. Administered by GBCI, the SITES program offers a systematic, comprehensive rating system designed to define sustainable sites, measure their performance and, ultimately, evaluate the value of landscapes. The SITES rating system can apply to development projects located on sites with or without buildings—ranging from national parks to corporate campuses, from streetscapes to homes.
